The Celebration of Women in Computing in Southern California (CWIC-SoCal) conference will be held in April, 2014 in northern San Diego County. It brings together women interested in computer science and information technology to network, share their experiences, learn from each other and, of course, to have fun. Whether you are a student early in your education or a corporate CEO, we invite you to join us.
We invite the submission for proposals for participation in the following session categories: presentations, lightning talks, posters, and demos. You can find out more about the types of submissions on the submissions page:
http://discover.cs.ucsb.edu/cwicsocal14/participate/submissions/
Although each faculty member is limited to one flashtalk, and a student is limited to one talk, there is no limit on the number of advisees a PC member can have submit for a talk. We strongly encourage PC members to submit flashtalks and to have their students submit talks or posters.
The submissions deadline has passed.
Submissions deadline: January 24, 2014
Notification: February 25, 2014
